
The two-time super bowl champion quarterback of my favorite team, Ben “Big Ben” Rosthesburger of the Pittsburg Steelers is in a downward spiral. The rumors of raping a woman and now these recent acquisitions have torn his public image apart. His black and gold fans as well as I are quickly loosing faith in his moral compass. I was watching the NFL draft hoping that my team would pick up a new stud to replace the dysfunctional human leading the “steel curtain.”
Ben has all the right talent but the correct attitude is needed to win games, an attitude he used to have. Ben has had several problems with his teammates. They say after the super bowl, Ben began to change from a humble over sized QB to an egotistical self-oriented player who stopped hanging out with other players.
Games are tough to win without the correct attitude and team bonding. Ben has lost both of these attributes. Games are also hard to win with out a strong leader as QB, which is why Ben should be traded. I will no longer support the Steelers as strongly while Ben Rothesburger is starting QB.
After the suspension from the scandals Pitt will probably still start Ben. as traded. Can I have any hope left. The Steelers coach, Mike Tomlin, will prove to be just as twisted if he thinks Pitt fans will back him in starting Ben. I would hope that Santanio Holmes would step up and lead the offense for the next year but he w
