The awesome IPad

The Apple IPad hit the stores last Monday and became an immediate hit, selling over 300,000 on opening day. Apple states that they expect to sell ten million over the next twelve months. Over a million apps were downloaded from ITunes already.

Honestly what is the big deal with this whole IPad? It is just and enormous IPhone. Instead of using a recent IPhone or GPS, you can now get directions to where you are going from a huge IPad the size of a computer. As we have learned over the years, computers are much easier then a hand held GPS for in car navigation.

The IPad has the same three-year-old technology as the IPhone. Apple is pulling the wool over societies eyes with this gadget. They created a more expensive, less convenient IPod touch and expected people to buy it. The worst part about this is that it actually worked. Most companies have been trying to put technology into the smallest device possible so Apple went the totally opposite direction. This little scheme paid off so now Microsoft is following along and creating what is pretty much an IPod touch table. When will this nonsense stop!

So the IPad can’t serve as your phone, doesn’t have a camera, does not support flash or multitasking, and doesn’t really introduce anything new besides a larger constructed body.

Wait a second what am I thinking, this is a great tool because…. It can fit in a manila envelope!
